The 2017 Civic Hatch Arrives at Matt Burne Honda

It’s been well over a decade since a five-door hatch was offered with the Honda Civic in North America, and today we’re proud to say the drought has ended. If you’re a fan of the brand, you’re sure to know by now that it’s been a year and a half since the Japanese automaker announced its intentions to offer a Civic hatch with the tenth generation model, and now, we’re selling it at our dealership!

The Civic hatch builds on the style of last year’s sedan model with a more sporty flair. The profile of the car is aerodynamic, chiseled, and aggressive, with a low body and gently tapered roof line ending in a snazzy rear spoiler. More sporting touches have been added to the front and rear bumpers to further differentiate it from the sedan.

When it comes to power, drivers familiar with the four-door will be happy to learn that the lauded 1.5-liter turbo is available in two version: the 174 horsepower version on lower trims, while higher and Sport trims get the 1.5-liter with 180 horses. A manual or CVT is available.

Are you excited to get the ball rolling on your next car buying process? We’re excited to help you in any way we can! Drop us a line at our Honda dealership in Scranton, PA and we’ll set you up for a test drive.
